The American Association for Cancer Research (AACR) Clinical and Translational Cancer Research Fellowships are open to postdoctoral and clinical research fellows working at an academic, medical or research institution who will be in the first five years of their postdoctoral training at the start of the grant term. Proposed research projects may be in any area of clinical and/or translational cancer research. The fellowships provide a one-year $45,000 grant to support the salary and benefits of the fellow while working on a mentored clinical and/or translational cancer research project. A partial amount of funds may be designated for research/laboratory supplies and equipment. It is anticipated that at least two fellowships will be funded.
