Tenure-Track Positions at NYC College of Technology

The Biological Sciences Department at New York City College of Technology is seeking candidates for tenure track openings to teach General Biology, Anatomy and Physiology, Microbiology and other courses offered by the department. The department is in the process of developing baccalaureate degree programs in Medical Laboratory Technology and Biomedical Informatics. Our faculty members are currently involved with research in Molecular Biology, Molecular Modeling, Cell Biology, Bioinformatics, and Microbial Genetics, among others.

Qualification Requirements
A PhD degree in an appropriate discipline is required. Excellent communication skills are needed. Candidates with backgrounds to support our proposed new programs would be looked at favorably. This includes experience in any of the Clinical Laboratory Disciplines (Hematology, Clinical Chemistry, Microbiology, Immunology, Cytology, and Histology) or in any area of Computational Biology (Biostatistics, Epidemiology, Probabilistic Modeling of Biological Data, etc.). Teaching experience is a plus.
