Visiting Professor of Biology Position in NC (3-year)
Elon University seeks a broadly-trained biologist for a 3-year position as a Visiting Professor in the Biology Department, starting in August 2012. A PhD in a biological science is required, and demonstrated excellence in teaching non-science majors is highly desirable. Teaching responsibilities include introductory biology courses for non-science majors, Science Without Borders (an interdisciplinary science course), and possibly The Global Experience in the university's interdisciplinary General Studies Program.
